Huldufólk :: The Hidden People

Huldufólk, or hidden people, are elves in Icelandic and Faroese folklore. These may be ancient stories, but Iceland is a place like no other. Being there transports you to a world where the raw, ancient landscape feels magical and overpowering.

While I was there, I filmed obsessively. The script seemed to emerge through the lens, and the film truly came to life in the edit. This project is very close to my heart, reflecting a way of working I adore. It was shot on DJI Mini, Sony, Canon, and iPhone (ProRes) cameras.
